Here are some examples of websites I’ve developed. I’ve created over 100 golf course websites and provided daily support for more than 1,200 course sites across North America. On average, I handled 10-15 Zendesk tickets per day, resolving issues and assisting users. I genuinely enjoyed the customer support aspect of my role and found it highly rewarding to help clients solve their problems efficiently.
As the designer of this website, I aimed to highlight the stunning visuals of the course by showcasing high-quality shots that truly capture its beauty. Using WordPress with the Divi, I crafted a sleek, user-friendly layout that places these images front and center. The site is seamlessly integrated with Lightspeed's Ecwid platform, enabling customers to easily sign up and pay for memberships and events at the club. Additionally, I created a dedicated website for their restaurant, The Balcony, ensuring smooth navigation for visitors exploring dining options. The restaurant's page features essential information such as the menu, hours, and location, all presented in a clean, engaging format that perfectly complements the site's overall aesthetic.
As the website designer for this site I used WordPress with Divi, I was thrilled when reviewing the initial intake form that included the stunning photos of the property. The breathtaking landscapes and vibrant natural surroundings truly showcase the beauty of the course and the unique experience it offers. It was clear from these images that the property exudes a distinct charm, and I was eager to bring that to life on the website. After speaking with the owner about what he was looking to capture, he mentioned wanting to incorporate a look similar to Bulleit Bourbon, particularly using their signature orange tones. This gave me a clear direction for the design—one that combined the warmth of the natural environment with a refined, rustic elegance. The goal was to create an online experience that mirrored the sense of awe and serenity that one feels when visiting in person, while providing an intuitive, engaging platform for visitors to explore everything Dinosaur Trail Golf has to offer. The customer has benefited greatly from this website, with a significant return on investment, particularly when paired with a digital marketing campaign through Lightspeed. This collaboration has led to increased revenue from green fees, demonstrating the power of a strong online presence. One day, I would love to personally visit this course and experience its beauty firsthand—it’s clear that it’s an unforgettable destination!
As the web designer for Science Hill Country Club, I utilized WordPress and the Divi Builder to create a dynamic, user-friendly website that reflects the club's unique offerings and rich history. During a consultation with the course owner, we discussed the importance of content in helping the club stand out, and she agreed to hire a professional to capture high-quality images and drone footage of the course. It's always rewarding when a client embraces your suggestions, and I believe the photographer did an amazing job. I focused on creating an engaging online presence by showcasing not only the course's 18-hole par 70 layout but also highlighting the diverse amenities, such as camping options, a full-service restaurant, and upcoming events. The design incorporates bold imagery and informative sections that appeal to potential visitors and members, ensuring they have a seamless experience whether booking tee times, exploring membership options, or learning about special events. With clear navigation and a responsive design, the site is tailored to enhance user experience and promote the club's continued growth and success.
This project utilized WordPress with DIVI, and while I wasn't the lead developer, I played a significant role in ensuring its timely completion and delivery. The website was part of Lightspeed's pro-plan offering, and it was quite large, involving a substantial number of pages to be built out. When it was time to go live, the client requested numerous revisions, many of which fell outside the original scope. Despite this, it was essential to use every means necessary to exceed the client's expectations, even if it meant adjusting the plan. It’s often a delicate balance between meeting deadlines and ensuring quality. In this case, the team came together when it became clear that more work was required to meet the go-live deadline. We divided the workload based on each team member’s strengths, and it was rewarding to collaborate in such a supportive environment. Ultimately, the focus remained on delivering the best result for the customer, proving how teamwork and dedication can make a significant difference. The result was one of the most aesthetically pleasing sites our department had ever created, and the client was thoroughly impressed. It’s always rewarding to exceed a customer’s expectations, and this project was no exception. The team's dedication, collaboration, and attention to detail truly paid off, creating a final product that not only met but surpassed the client's vision. It was a great feeling to see the effort come together so successfully, and the client’s satisfaction made all the hard work worthwhile.
I developed a WordPress website for Dustin Risdon, the 2019 PGA of Canada Champion, designed to highlight his golf expertise and provide an easy booking platform for his lessons. The website features an integrated online booking system for both in-person and virtual lessons, enabling clients to select lesson types, dates, times, and make payments online. The design is clean, professional, and visually appealing, ensuring an engaging user experience that makes it simple for potential clients to book lessons with Dustin.
In addition, I implemented Google tracking codes on the site to analyze user behavior and enhance the performance of Dustin's pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns. I was responsible for developing and managing his entire PPC strategy, including setting up campaigns, managing the ad budget, and continuously optimizing landing pages. By regularly analyzing Google Analytics data, I was able to drive more traffic to Dustin’s site and increase lesson bookings and revenue.
This website, along with its PPC campaigns, proved highly successful in helping Dustin connect with potential clients and expand his business. It serves as a testament to my skills as a WordPress developer, my ability to deliver results, and my commitment to helping clients achieve their business objectives.

When creating the website for Bailey's Homestead, one of my main goals was to ensure the restaurant owner could easily make updates independently. This was one of the key reasons I recommended Wix as the platform. When the COVID-19 shutdown forced the restaurant to pivot quickly, I leveraged Wix's user-friendly tools to build a site that captured the restaurant's cozy atmosphere while providing a seamless online experience for customers.
The site featured an intuitive online ordering system for pickup and delivery, streamlining the ordering process, reducing wait times, and enhancing overall efficiency. I also integrated a reservation system, saving time and minimizing missed bookings, resulting in a smoother customer experience.
The success of the website was underscored when Bailey's Homestead won the "Best Online Ordering" award at the Keswick Reader's Choice Awards, reflecting the positive impact of the project during challenging times. Additionally, I developed and managed a targeted PPC Google Ads strategy, driving more traffic to the site and delivering an impressive 6x ROI.
This was the first time I used Wix as a site builder, and I found the platform both easy to use and powerful. Ultimately, the owner was thrilled with the solution, as it allowed him to independently manage and update the site. He was particularly grateful that the website helped keep revenue flowing during such a difficult time for the restaurant industry.
